“Cooking without Looking” is a TV cooking show for the visually impaired.
“‘Cooking Without Looking’ empowers the visually impaired to stay active in the kitchen,” says David Wu, CEO of Ai Squared. “And what better way to compliment the show than with ZoomText, our screen magnification and reading software that reduces eye strain and enables people to see their PC more clearly.”
In Southern Florida, “Cooking Without Looking” airs on WXEL-TV42 (Vero Beach through Miami) to 1.7 million viewers. “This is a very exciting time for all of us at ‘Cooking Without Looking,'” says Ren’ee Rentmeester, creator and executive producer of the show. “We’re very grateful to our sponsors and supporters who have come together to make sure that the show continues to get the message of hope and understanding to millions of people with blindness, vision impairments, and low vision, as well as their sighted family and friends.”
